Interested in volunteering for OrcaCon? Excellent! We will be looking for volunteers who wish to do both pre-con planning and at the show volunteering. The board is currently putting together a list of pre-con planning roles we will be looking for to help us make 2023 a success. Can't do pre-con planning? That's okay! We would love to have you there on-site, too.

Once we are ready with all the open roles, we will reach out to everyone interested in the pre-con planning teams. For those who are interested in only volunteering at the show, we will reach out in the fall with the other roles we have available. Game Hosts - Teaching games to attendees, working the OrcaCon library.

Operations - Directing traffic of attendees, keeping an eye out for attendee needs, runner, liaison with hotel

Registration - Getting attendees, guests, merchants, exhibitors registered, and directing people to different areas of the con as needed

Info Desks - Answering attendee questions, handing out pronoun ribbons & communication buttons, flyers, directing traffic,

Programming - Helping keep the panels & workshops on time, taking head counts, liaison with the streaming/media team

Merchants & Exhibitors - Helping traffic flow and attending needs to everyone vending/exhibiting

Family Games - Assisting Family Games coordinator with the library and facilitating games and events in the family game area.

Quiet Room - Assisting Quiet Room Coordinator to attend needs of attendees in the Quiet Room and Quiet Game Area
